Ashley Mead serves as the Family Resource Director for Forever Adoption Ministry Foundation.

Ashley received her BS in Nursing from Charleston Southern University and has since worked in the medical fields of Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Health & Wellness, and Plastic Surgery. Ashley has been married to her husband, Rick, for fifteen years, and her primary focus these days is raising their three boys, homeschooling, and running a Health & Wellness home-based business. 

Ashley first felt called to adoption when she was fifteen years old. God placed on her heart a burden for the orphan and placed a picture in her mind of what her family would someday look like. By the grace of God, Micah came home from South Korea in March 2011, Rafe came home from South Korea in January 2017, and Cameron arrived in March 2017. Throughout the adoption process for her sons, the financial aspect of raising funds was the most stressful and discouraging component of the entire process. Ashley’s desire is that Forever Adoption will bring countless blessings into families lives. Not only by relieving adoption’s financial burden, but through the immeasurable blessing that adoption brings to a family. Just as we are adopted into God’s family through Jesus Christ, God has called us to open our lives to adoption in order to show orphans around the world a very tangible picture of the Gospel. It is Ashley’s hope that all orphans will understand the Gospel message and come to trust Jesus Christ as their Savior.
